Teel Auctions Presents Art Glass, Comic Books, Porcelain and Fine Art in Live and Online Sale on Tuesday, October 20, 2026

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Art Nouveau cameo glass, Japanese cloisonné, Limoges porcelain and Bronze and Copper Age comics headline a hybrid sale, with online pre-bidding open now

Mt. Bethel, Pa. – Teel Auctions will hold a live and online auction of art glass, comic books, porcelain, fine art and antiques on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Teel Auction Gallery, 1101 Allegheny Road, Mt. Bethel, Pa. 18343. Live bidding begins at 10 a.m., and online lots begin at noon. Pre-bidding is open now at live.teelauctions.com and stays open until each lot comes up for live bidding.

The sale offers something for nearly every collector. Highlights range from mid-century Makora and Sommerso art glass and Limoges cobalt-and-gilt porcelain to original oil paintings, Gerz lidded beer steins, vintage Pyrex, and audio equipment from Dual, Denon and Pioneer. Comic book fans will find one of the sale’s deepest categories, with group lots of Marvel, DC, Disney and Archie titles from the Bronze, Copper and Modern ages.

Several lots stand out. Lot 92 is an antique Art Nouveau blue-and-white cameo glass vase decorated with irises. Lot 72, a 7-inch Japanese cloisonné vase, shows poppies on a yellow ground, a color less common than black or blue. Lot 21 is a one-of-a-kind hand-carved folk art tobacco pipe with stacked figural heads. Lot 45 offers a Conn Victor trumpet with case, fitted with the electroformed Coprion bell that players value for its tone. Lot 82 brings together 30 Marvel and DC comic books featuring Spider-Man.

Teel Auctions conducts regular live and online sales from its Mt. Bethel gallery, letting bidders compete in person, online or by pre-bid.

A 20% buyer’s premium applies to credit card and PayPal payments, and an 18% premium applies to cash or check paid by 4:30 p.m. the Friday after the sale. Shipping can be arranged through The Packaging Place, and inspection before bidding is encouraged.
